UPSSSC Exam Calendar 2026 Released: Check Complete Schedule Of Exams, Interviews And Physical Tests
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released its annual exam calendar for 2026. The calendar outlines the tentative schedule for various recruitment examinations, interviews, physical tests, typing tests, and medical examinations scheduled between January and December 2026.
The announcement will help lakhs of aspirants prepare their study plans and manage their exam strategies more effectively. However, UPSSSC has clarified that all dates mentioned in the calendar are provisional and may be revised if required.
The 2026 exam calendar covers several major recruitment processes, including Female Health Worker, Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Junior Engineer (Civil), Accountant, Pharmacist, BCG Technician, Technical Assistant Group-C, Excise Constable, Forest Guard, Assistant Accountant and Auditor, Sugarcane Supervisor, Havildar Instructor, and other posts. The commission has also announced interview schedules for various instructor and specialist-level positions across departments.
As per the released schedule, the first written examination of 2026 was conducted on January 11, 2026, for the Health Worker Female Main Examination.
The final major written examination of the year is scheduled for December 20, 2026. On this date, the main examinations for Assistant Accountant and Auditor as well as Vidhan Bhavan Guard/Forest Guard recruitment are proposed to be conducted.
Major Exams Scheduled from August to December 2026
According to the UPSSSC exam calendar, several important examinations and tests are planned during the second half of the year:
The Technical Assistant Group-C Main Examination is scheduled for August 9, 2026.
The Combined Subordinate Services (Graduate Level) Main Examination is proposed for August 23, 2026.
The Hindi Shorthand and Typing Test for Stenographer recruitment is scheduled to begin from September 1, 2026.
The main examination for Excise Constable and Pharmacist (Ayurvedic) recruitment will be held on September 20, 2026.
The Forest Guard, Wildlife Guard, and Forensic Science Laboratory recruitment main examinations are proposed for September 27, 2026.
The Platoon Commander/Band Organiser and Havildar Instructor Main Examination is scheduled for November 22, 2026.
The Sugarcane Supervisor and Mohrir Main Examination is proposed for November 29, 2026.
The Junior Assistant typing test is scheduled to be conducted in December 2026.
The UPSSSC PET 2026 or the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026, one of the most important examinations conducted by UPSSSC, is proposed to be held in October 2026.
The PET serves as the qualifying examination for candidates who wish to participate in several major recruitment processes conducted by the commission. Due to its importance, lakhs of candidates are expected to appear for the exam.
Physical Tests and Medical Examination Schedule Released
Along with written examinations, UPSSSC has also announced the schedule for physical and medical tests.
For Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard recruitment, the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are proposed to be conducted from February 10 to February 19, 2026.
The physical test for Enforcement Constable recruitment is scheduled from February 22 to February 28, 2026.
The medical examination for Forest Guard recruitment will be conducted between June 15 and June 20, 2026.
Typing Tests for Stenographer and Junior Assistant Recruitment
Candidates appearing for Stenographer recruitment will have to participate in the Hindi shorthand and typing test, which is proposed to begin from September 1, 2026.
The typing test for Junior Assistant recruitment candidates will be conducted in December 2026.
Interview Schedule for Various Posts
UPSSSC has also released interview dates for several instructor and specialist posts.
The interview for Instructor Mechanic (R&AC) is scheduled from March 17 to March 20, 2026, while the Instructor Plumber interview will be conducted from March 23 to March 25, 2026.
Apart from these, interviews for posts such as Instructor Power Electronics System, Assistant Statistical Officer (Animal Husbandry), Instructor Turner, Basic Cosmetology, Fashion Technology, Sewing Technology, Dress Making, Fitter, Draughtsman, and Mechanic Diesel are proposed between June and October 2026.
