UP PCS 2024 Final Result Declared: Girls Outperform Boys, Neha Panchal Tops Exam
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the final result of the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) 2024. This year’s results once again saw girls outperform boys. The top two ranks have been secured by females. Neha Panchal has secured the top rank in UPPCS 2024, followed by Ananya Trivedi in second place and Abhay Pratap Singh in third. The UPPCS 2024 result is available on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
While releasing the results, UPPSC Secretary Ashok Kumar stated that out of 947 vacancies, 932 candidates have been declared successful. The remaining 15 vacancies could not be filled due to a lack of suitable candidates. The selected candidates have been appointed to 24 important posts, including SDM, DSP, and Block Development Officer (BDO). Among the top 10 rank holders, there are six women and four men, while the top 20 include 13 women and seven men.

UPPCS 2024 Final Result Direct Link
The UPPCS 2024 selection process was highly challenging. The main examination was conducted from June 29, 2025, to July 2, 2025, at various centres in Prayagraj and Lucknow, with 13,776 candidates appearing. The main exam results were announced on February 4, 2026, and 2,719 candidates were declared eligible for the interview. The interview process started on February 16, 2026, and continued till March 23, 2026. During this period, 21 candidates could not attend the interview.
Some legal issues also arose during the recruitment process. The High Court heard petitions filed by Rishish Prakash and others, and on March 20, 2026, two additional candidates were allowed to appear for the interview on the court’s orders. Following the court’s directions, the Commission completed the selection process within the prescribed time frame and with full transparency.
Regarding vacancies, 1 post of Administrative Officer and 14 posts of Administrator remained vacant due to the unavailability of suitable candidates. As per rules, the Commission has recommended that these vacancies be carried forward to the next selection year.
The Commission has clarified that selection for the post of Deputy Jailor is based solely on the written examination. Candidates whose names are marked “PROV" (Provisional) need not worry, but they must submit their original documents to the Commission within the specified deadline. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of their candidature.
