Sunny Deol Meets Satinder Sartaaj Amid Dhurandhar2's Jaiye Sajana Buzz, Reveals He’s Sung In Gabru
Satinder Sartaaj, who is receiving praise for his Dhurandhar 2 song Jaiye Sajana, recently met Sunny Deol. The meeting has drawn attention as Sartaaj continues to gain popularity and is also set to be associated with Sunny’s upcoming film Gabru.
Punjabi folk singer Satinder Sartaaj is currently enjoying a strong wave of appreciation for his music, and his recent meeting with Sunny Deol has added to the buzz around him. The singer took to Instagram to share pictures from the meeting, where the two were seen spending time together over a meal.
Sharing the post, Sunny Deol wrote, “Ever since I first heard his music in 2021, his songs have stayed with me. I have a playlist of his songs which I am listing to most of the time. I had reached out to him for two songs for my special film Gabru, a film very close to my heart, both the songs have made the film even more beautiful, but we never got the chance to meet back then. Finally, we did… and spent a beautiful evening together. Truly love Sartaaj’s music."
Sartaaj has been in the spotlight recently for his track Jaiye Sajana from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which also features Jasmine Sandlas. The song has been gaining traction on social media and is contributing to his growing popularity among a wider audience. Known for his soulful style, Sartaaj has also been actively performing across India, with concerts adding to his visibility beyond Punjabi music circles.
Not long back, Jasmine Sandlas also shared her excitement about working with him. She wrote, “It’s a dream come true to work with the one and only @satindersartaaj. I am such a big fan, and I deeply adore his music. My mom is so happy, and that is my biggest victory."
Satinder Sartaaj first gained widespread recognition with his song Sai and has since built a strong following through live performances around the world. He also made his acting debut as Maharaja Duleep Singh in The Black Prince in 2017.
The meeting with Sunny Deol comes at a time when the actor is gearing up for his next film Gabru, directed by Shashank Udapurkar and produced by Vishal Rana and Om Chhangani. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 8. Sartaaj is expected to lend his voice to the film, making the meeting even more relevant as both prepare for the upcoming project.
Sunny Deol’s upcoming films
Apart from Gabru, Sunny Deol will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, where he plays Hanuman. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The first part of Ramayana is slated for release during Diwali 2026, with the second part expected in Diwali 2027.
