Paytm, Swiggy, Infosys, ONGC, Exide Industries, Hindustan Zinc and Eicher Motors are among the key stocks to watch on Wednesday, 19 August, as investors track corporate developments, orders, strategic deals and other company-specific triggers.
Paytm will remain in focus as Ant Group is set to sell a 3 per cent stake in the company through a block deal. The transaction is valued at around $30.9 crore.
Swiggy shareholders have approved a proposal to cap foreign shareholding at 49.5 per cent. The move could help the company secure Indian-owned and controlled company (IOCC) status and support Instamart’s transition towards an inventory-led model.

ONGC has connected its Khoraghat Gas field in Assam to the North East Gas Grid through the Dergaon-Dimapur pipeline. The connection could enable evacuation of around 1 lakh standard cubic metres of gas per day from ONGC’s Jorhat asset, while improving gas availability and reducing flaring.
Eicher Motors’ Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.11 lakh.
Exide Industries has invested Rs 200 crore in its subsidiary Exide Energy Solutions through a rights issue. The investment takes its total investment in EESL to Rs 5,102 crore, while its stake remains at 100 per cent. The funds will be used for the lithium-ion cell plant in Bengaluru.
Hindustan Zinc has increased its renewable power consumption to 22 per cent from 18 per cent. The company is targeting 70 per cent renewable power consumption by FY28.
