NABARD Development Assistant Recruitment 2026: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has invited online applications for the post of Development Assistant. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website at nabard.org. The recruitment drive aims to fill 162 vacancies in the organisation.
The registration process began on January 17 and will continue till February 3, 2026. As per the official schedule, the Phase I (Preliminary) examination will be conducted on February 21, 2026, while the Phase II (Main) examination is scheduled for April 12, 2026.
Eligibility
Candidates applying for the post must be between 21 and 35 years of age. Those born not earlier than January 2, 1991, and not later than January 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a preliminary examination, main examination and a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
The preliminary exam will have 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with a total duration of 60 minutes. The main examination will be conducted for 200 marks, and candidates will get 135 minutes to complete the paper.
Candidates who qualify for selection and have passed Class 10 or Class 12 with the declared language as one of the subjects will not be required to appear for the Language Proficiency Test. However, they must submit valid proof, such as the Class 10 or 12 marksheet, showing the specified language as a subject.

Application Fee
The application fee for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories is ₹100, while candidates from all other categories will have to pay Rs 550. The fee can be paid using debit cards (Rupay/Visa/Mastercard/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards or mobile wallets, as per the options provided during the application process.
