MBSE HSLC Result 2026 LIVE: Mizoram Board Class 10th Results Declared On mbse.edu.in
Mizoram Board Class 10th HSLC Result 2026 Time: The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has announced the Class 10, or Mizoram Board HSLC Result 2026, today, April 23, 2026. Students who appeared for the Class 10 board examinations can view and download their High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) marksheets from the official website, mbse.edu.in. To access their scorecards, candidates will need to enter their roll number and registration number.
The Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 19 to March 16, 2026, in offline, pen-and-paper mode at various examination centres across Mizoram. To qualify in the Mizoram 10th exam 2026, students must secure a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject. MBSE also provides grace marks to candidates who are short of up to two passing grades.

In a major policy change, the Mizoram board has resolved to stop publishing merit lists, rankings, distinctions, and divisions in the result booklets from this academic year onwards. Education Minister Vanlalthlana had previously announced this step is intended to lessen excessive competition among students and promote a more holistic, competency-based learning model instead of focusing on rote-based performance.
Students can collect their results from the MBSE office in Chaltlang, Aizawl, or from the regional office in Lunglei, South Mizoram.
The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has announced the class 10th (HSLC) result 2026. It was declared via a press conference at noon. Students can check the result on the official website at mbse.edu.in. It is also available on mbseonline.com.
To pass the MBSE HSLC exam 2026, students must secure at least 33 per cent marks in each subject as well as in the aggregate. The Mizoram board grants grace marks to candidates who require up to two passing grades. According to the board, students who fail in any one subject will be given up to 4 marks in the supplementary exam, and if a student fails in any one subject, they may receive up to 12 grace marks.
If a student fails one or two topics, they will be eligible to sit the MBSE 10th compartment test. Additional information on the supplementary exam will be released immediately after the board results are announced.
To get the scorecard, students must input their login information, such as their registration and roll numbers. In case students have lost their admit cards, they need to contact their school authorities immediately to help them get their roll numbers to access the scorecards online.
In the MBSE HSLC exam 2024, as many as 13,618 out of 18,561 students who sat the test passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.37 per cent. Unlike many other states, in Mizoram, boys have scored a higher pass percentage than girls, with 74.38 per cent of the students qualifying. The pass percentage among girls stood at 72.48 per cent.
The second rank was jointly secured by Isak MS Dawnglima (Government Mizo High School) and Malsawmkima Chawngthu (CLS Academy), each earning distinction in five subjects. Ricky Lalnunfela from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School clinched the third position. Among individual subject toppers, Lalrohlupuii scored a perfect 100 in Mathematics, while C Lalvenzuala achieved a full score of 100 in Science.
PC Lalthakimi, daughter of Datthuama from KD High School, Aizawl, topped the state in MBSE HSLC 2025 with an impressive 479 out of 500 marks. She scored distinction in all six subjects — English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Mizo.
In the HSLC result 2025, the overall pass percentage stood at 76.68%, a notable rise from 73.37% recorded in 2024. Out of 18,946 students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams, 14,527 successfully passed. For class 12, the overall pass rate stood at 81.10% last time.
