Man Lost Rs 2 Crore During COVID-19, Rebuilt His Life From Scratch; Viral Metro Video Leaves Internet In Tears
A heartfelt video recorded inside a metro train has gone viral after an Indian man candidly shared how he lost nearly Rs 2 crore during the Covid 19 pandemic before starting over from scratch.
Shared by the Instagram page @immemesupplier with the caption, “Just mens sacrifices", the 53-second clip shows the man calmly speaking to the person recording him while standing inside a metro coach. He narrates his story in a composed manner, without showing visible signs of distress.
According to the man, he now works in an administrative role at a five-star hotel in Dubai’s Internet City. However, before moving abroad, he had been running a successful building materials business in India. The pandemic, he said, changed everything.
Explaining the financial blow he suffered, the man says he had paid suppliers in advance before the COVID-19 crisis disrupted business operations. As the market collapsed, he ended up losing nearly Rs 2 crore.
“Corona losses," he says in the clip, summing up years of hard work disappearing in a short span of time.
“There is nothing left," he adds quietly.
Despite the scale of the setback, what struck viewers the most was not just the amount of money he lost, but the calm and acceptance with which he spoke about it. Rather than sounding bitter or defeated, the man appeared focused on moving ahead.
When asked what keeps him going, he responds with a simple but powerful line: “Life goes on."
He also says, “Show Must Go On," a statement that many viewers felt perfectly captured the resilience behind his story.
The video has already crossed more than 77,000 views and continues to spread across social media platforms, with users flooding the comments section with emotional reactions.

Several others described him as a “hustler" and a “brave man", while many said the video made them reflect on their own problems and struggles.
