School annual functions are always filled with excitement, especially when young children appear on the stage in bright, colourful clothes. During one such event, something unexpected happened and quickly caught everyone's attention. While the children were preparing to begin their dance steps, a smoke effect suddenly started on the stage and the kids were not ready for this surprise at all. For a few seconds, they looked confused and scared.
Their innocent reactions made the moment funny yet made many emotional. People in the audience tried to calm the girls. For the audience, it was part of the show. For the children, it felt strange and a little frightening.
How A Surprise Smoke Effect Frightened Kids
The clip shows two little girls from Success Wings Preschool in Solapur preparing for their performance during the school's Annual Gathering Celebration. Both girls looked adorable dressed in traditional Maharashtrian outfits. They were ready to dance on the song Mai Kolhapur Se Aayi Hoon from the 1994 film Anjaam, originally performed by actress Madhuri Dixit.
Everything was set, but as soon as they stepped on stage, a smoke effect appeared, which shocked the girls. One of them ran off the stage in fear, while the other began crying loudly. The audience, especially parents who were ready with their phones to record the performance, rushed to them in concern and comforted their daughters.

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “They should have done it earlier for the kids to get used to it."
Another shared, “Her steps were on point."
“The Wings failed to deploy successfully, but very cute," a comment read.
One more added, “What's the need for smoke? These little ones are so small, they would have been covered in it totally. Stupid behaviour scared them like hell."
Importance Of Preparing Children For Stage Performances
When children go on stage, it is very important to explain everything to them in advance. If they are not prepared for surprises like smoke effects or sudden lights, they can get scared quickly. Moments like this stay in their memory for a long time, sometimes making them nervous about performing again. Proper guidance and preparation help children feel confident, enjoy their performance and handle unexpected things calmly.
