JEE Advanced 2026 Registration Deadline Extended; Here’s How to Apply
The registration deadline for JEE Advanced 2026 session has been extended till May 5. Eligible students can register at jeeadv.ac.in.
The registration window for JEE Advanced 2026 has been extended, giving aspirants a final opportunity to complete their applications. According to the official notice, eligible candidates can now register until 11:59 PM on May 5, 2026.
The extension comes as a relief for students who qualified for the exam but were unable to complete the process within the earlier deadline. However, candidates are advised not to delay further, as no additional extension is expected. It is important to note that registration will be considered complete only after the successful payment of the application fee. Simply filling out the form without payment will not be counted as a valid submission.
Candidates can follow these steps to complete their registration:
Candidates are also advised to carefully verify all details before submitting the form to avoid errors that could affect their candidature later.
Candidates must note that registration for JEE Advanced 2026 will be considered complete only after the successful completion of the fee payment step (Step 3). Merely filling out the application form is not sufficient. The admit card will be issued only to those candidates who complete all three steps of the registration process, including payment.
Once candidates click on “Pay Registration Fee,” they will be redirected to multiple payment gateway options. They can choose from Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, e-Challan, or CSC services, depending on their convenience.
After a successful transaction, candidates will be able to download and print the “Registration Acknowledgement,” which will include a unique registration number. It is advisable to keep this document safe for future reference.
JEE Advanced is the gateway to prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). With the deadline now extended, aspirants have a brief window to ensure their applications are completed correctly and on time.
