Jharkhand Board JAC Matric (Class 10) Result 2026 LIVE: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the JAC Board 10th Result 2026 at a press conference. The JAC Class 10 Result 2026 link has been activated on the board’s official websites, jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com. Students can check their Jharkhand Board results by entering their roll number and roll code. The results are also be available on DigiLocker and via SMS.

To pass the Jharkhand board 10th exams, students must score a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject and overall. Those who score below the required marks will need to appear for compartment exams or apply for re-evaluation.
Indira Gandhi Girls’ High School, located in Hazaribagh, hit a sixer in the merit list this year. Five students from this school alone secured positions in the top 12. The school has long been known for its excellent education system, and this year’s results have once again reaffirmed its excellence.
Rank 2 was shared by four students, each scoring 496, or 99.20%. These were Divyanshu Oraon and Khilesh Sahu from St. Patrick’s High School, Gumla, and Vaishnavi Shree and Julita Minj from Indira Gandhi Girls High School, Hazaribagh. Rank 3 was also shared by four students, each scoring 494, or 98.80%. These were Mehtab Ansari (Nawatar), Preet Raj (Ormanjhi), and Amisha Kumari and Deepti Rani, both from Hazaribagh.
Looking at the district-wise performance of the exam results, schools in Hazaribagh and Gumla have done remarkably well.
Four students have jointly secured rank 1 in the state merit list, each scoring 498 out of 500, that is, 99.60%. The toppers are Priyanshu Kumari of Indira Gandhi Balika High School, Hazaribagh; Shivangi Kumari of S.S. High School, Bano Simdega; Prem Kumar Sahu of Premchand High School, Mesra Ranchi; and Sunny Kumar Verma of St. Aloysius High School, Ranchi.
After the results are declared, students can access their scorecards on jacresults.nic.in or through DigiLocker. As heavy traffic may slow down the official website, DigiLocker serves as a convenient alternative. Students can log in using their registered mobile number and instantly view their digital marksheets.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the official results for the 2026 Class 10 examinations. This year, a total of 424,001 students registered for the matriculation exam, of whom 422,109 appeared. Out of these, 402,178 students have passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 95.278%.

If you are not satisfied with your marks, don’t worry. JAC will open an online scrutiny window soon after the results are declared. Students can apply to have their answer sheets re-evaluated. Further details will be shared by the board after the declaration of the JAC 10th and 12th Result 2026.

In 2024, the JAC announced the Class 12 results on April 30, with a total of 3,44,822 students appearing across all streams. Their performance was as follows:
Science: 94,433 students appeared | Pass percentage – 72.70%
Commerce: 25,907 students appeared | Pass percentage – 90.60%
Arts: 2,24,502 students appeared | Pass percentage – 93.70%
The overall pass percentage stood at 85.48%, with girls outperforming boys in all three streams.
To pass the Jharkhand Board 10th and 12th exams, students must obtain at least 33% marks in each subject. If a student fails in one or two subjects, they are given another opportunity through a compartment exam. Therefore, after viewing your results, carefully check your marks in every subject.
To check the results, students must have both their roll number and roll code, which are mentioned on the admit card. An incorrect login can cause issues and prevent the results from being displayed, so it is best to keep your admit card ready in advance.
The Jharkhand Board generally conducts a press conference before announcing the results. During this event, board officials share key details such as the overall pass percentage, the list of toppers, and overall student performance. Only after this does the board activate the result link on its official website.
After checking their results, students should promptly download their provisional marksheet and take a printout. This marksheet will be required for further admissions and other formalities. Although the original marksheet will be issued by the school later, the digital copy is valid for the time being.
