Bihar Elections 2025 dates announced: The election dates for Bihar elections have been announced by the Election Commission of India. Phase 1 of the Bihar assembly elections will happen on November 6. New arrangements feature a 1,200-voter limit per station, 100% webcasting, upgraded EVM ballot papers, and voters depositing mobile phones outside. These measures ensure transparent and smooth conduct of voting.
Bihar Elections Phase 1 polling dates: The Election Commision of India (ECI) has announced the dates for the state. Phase 1 of the Bihar assembly elections will mark the beginning of polling across select constituencies in the state. Voters in these areas will head to the booths under enhanced security and strict monitoring by the Election Commission. As part of the new arrangements, no polling station will have more than 1,200 voters, and every booth will be under 100 per cent webcasting.

The Election Commission has also introduced upgraded ballot papers on EVMs for these polls, with clearer candidate photographs and bold serial numbers for better visibility. These measures are aimed at ensuring transparency and smooth conduct of voting in the first phase.
