Delhi has been placed under heightened security following a car explosion that took place near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, November 10. The blast, which happened during rush hour, claimed at least 12 lives and injured several.
In the wake of the explosion, the Delhi Traffic Police and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) have both released advisories asking people to plan their routes carefully to avoid congestion.

Did A Redditor Predict the Explosion?
Amid the ongoing investigation, a Reddit post made hours before the explosion has caught public attention. The user, identifying as a Class 12 student, had noticed an unusually heavy security presence across Delhi on Monday morning.
“Is something going on in Delhi?" the user wrote in the title. “I just came back from my school (12 student) and not lying everywhere, there was just police and army, and media like on the Red Fort on the metro everywhere. Not even kidding, when I was travelling in the metro, I saw more army than ever. Is something going on, like what's up today?"
The post has drawn attention because it was posted hours before the blast occurred yesterday evening at around 6:55 PM.
One user commented, “Bro, how the f*** you know about this 2 hours before the actual event?"
Another said, “Bro tried to warn us all (unknowingly)," while someone else remarked, “Broooo predicted the future with the exact place. WTF!"
