The excitement around Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller franchise shows no signs of slowing down. Just months after the release of the first film last December, the sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has hit theatres on March 19 and fans are going absolutely wild.
Amid the frenzy, one behind-the-scenes clip has caught widespread attention to an unusual hero of the film: a turban tying specialist whose skill brought authenticity to the portrayal of Baloch characters.
Specialist Turban Artist Gains Online Fame
The video, shared by Balwinder Singh, shows his journey from taking a train and then a flight to reach the Ladakh set of Dhurandhar, where the Baloch settlements were recreated for the shoot. On set, he is seen tying turbans for the actors portraying the Baloch people.
Balwinder explained in his post: “Specialist turban artist – The one who ties the turban in the movie Dhurandhar. A moment during the shooting of the movie Dhurandhar. The honour of the turban is on the head, even on the set."

Fans Appreciate Every Hand Behind The Camera
The reel racked up over a million views and social media users erupted with appreciation for Balwinder’s craft.

What To Expect From Dhurandhar 2
Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh and features an ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor and Sara Arjun in key roles. The sequel picks up from the cliffhanger of the first film, where it dives deeper into Jaskirat’s dual identity and the high-stakes intelligence operations unfolding across borders.
The storyline is expected to shed light on the shifting power dynamics in Karachi’s underworld following the demise of Rehman Dakait.
Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the sequel has been produced on a massive scale and has been released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
