Ranveer Singh's much-anticipated spy thriller Dhurandhar is rapidly approaching its theatrical release, with excitement steadily building. Advance bookings opened six days early, registering decent initial numbers.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film has sold 9,110 tickets across 2,251 shows on opening day in major national chains, including PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.
While mixed reactions to the trailer may have contributed to the modest start, the makers remain optimistic. With five days remaining until release, Dhurandhar is expected to gain stronger organic momentum as the premiere draws nearer.
Dhurandar's Most Expensive Ticket
In a surprising highlight, the film features one of the most expensive tickets currently on sale. The BookMyShow platform shows that the most expensive ticket for Ranveer Singh's action thriller is priced at Rs 2020, including a Rs 70 convenience fee. Yes, you read that right. It is for a show at Maison INOX: Jio World Plaza, BKC, in Mumbai. But despite the premium price, it does not include food and beverages.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar is a large-scale action entertainer that highlights the bravery of India's special agents operating in Pakistan.
