Dharmendra’s Dussehra Message Wishing ‘Health and Happiness’ Goes Viral Amid Health Concerns

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra is currently under medical observation at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. While rumours about his death surfaced on the Internet, his daughter Esha Deol issued a statement refuting the rumours. She clarified that Dharmendra is ‘stable and recovering'. Amid health concerns, Dharmendra's Instagram post from last month is going viral.

In the short clip posted last month, the veteran actor sat in a golf cart, surrounded by his staff, smiling softly into the camera as he spoke with his characteristic warmth. “Tamaam bhai behno ko, bachche bachiyon ko, Dusshera ki shubhkamnaye. Bhagwan aapko lambi sehat de, khushiyan de, aur ab aap naye ban ke rahe, tab toh tarraki hi tarraki hai."

It was a simple Dussehra greeting. His wish for health, happiness, and renewal has since resonated deeply with millions.

Across six glorious decades, Dharmendra redefined what it meant to be a hero. From the stoic resilience of Phool Aur Patthar and moral idealism of Satyakam, to the romantic charm of Chupke Chupke and the immortal toughness of Sholay, he built a career that spanned every shade of the human experience.

Dharmendra has been quite active on Instagram over the years. He turned his Instagram account, @aapkadharam, into an intimate bridge between himself and his fans. He shared verses of poetry, farm-life musings, and messages of gratitude that made his followers feel like family.

Meanwhile, as Dharmendra continues to remain under medical observation, fans have been praying for his speedy recovery. Celebrities such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, Ameesha Patel and others paid the veteran actor a visit at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday night.
