Delhi Woman Learns Benefits Of Ayurvedic Herbs On Amazing Cab Ride: Tasty Nahi Hota. Khatta Lagega’
After hopping into a cab, we tend to plug in our earphones or call a friend to keep ourselves occupied without feeling bored. But what if you took a detour and struck up a casual conversation with the driver instead? After all, drivers often have the most interesting stories to tell, be it about the city or the people they meet. Sometimes, they can give you advice you didn't ask for but secretly needed.
Along similar lines, a woman shared a video on X that showed how a simple car ride turned into an enriching experience for her. In the clip, the driver explained the benefits of consuming Punarnava, an Ayurvedic herb known to have several health benefits.
Uber Driver Talks About Punarnava Benefits
The video opens with the driver describing how he prepares Punarnava into a beverage. The elderly man revealed that he adds mint leaves to the juice extract and simmers the concoction for some time before pouring it into a cup. After that, he squeezes a little bit of lemon into it and drinks the beverage like tea. When the woman asked whether it was tasty, the answer was negative.
“Tasty nahi hota. Khatta lagega (It is not tasty. It feels sour)," shared the driver but highlighted that the drink is good for the stomach. “This venerable Uber driver in Delhi (from Bihar) gave me so many Ayurvedic recipes for good health. Indian Knowledge Systems are woven into everyday conversations. I recorded this part where he is telling me about how he drinks Punarnava instead of tea in the morning," read the side note.

“Punarnava has immense health benefits. It is also available in the market as a tonic. Good for fatty liver," noted a user. “Punarnava is one of the best herbs for kidney health," agreed another. “Honest hain. Taste accha nahi hain (It is honest. Taste is not good)," wrote an individual.
“Keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that The Liver Doc does not get into his car, ever," read a sceptical remark. “You are lucky. He is a celebrity. You are taking his video, not the other way round," commented one person.
