It shows a glowing red heart replacing the usual circular light, giving a charming twist to an everyday sight.

Many users shared that these heart-shaped lights have actually been around for a while. “It's been a year since they implemented these in most of the signals around Chennai," a user commented.
Another added, “Yes! All throughout Chennai, the red lights are hearts. I think it's supposed to mean that you have loved ones waiting, so drive carefully. Something like that."
