Disturbing details emerged about Joshua Jahn, 29, who attacked an ICE facility, killing one detainee. A video game addict, Jahn logged 17,500 hours, often playing shooters. His online profile revealed a "#Impeachment" name during Trump's trial, suggesting political motives. Handwritten notes confirmed his intent to terrorize ICE employees and bullets with anti-ICE messages were found from the spot.
Disturbing details have come to light about Joshua Jahn, 29, the suspected shooter who opened fire on an ICE facility and killed one detainee. The shooter appeared to make a dig at Donald Trump years before the so-called "politically motivated attack". Video game–obsessed shooter Joshua Jahn spent nearly 17,500 hours playing online games, mostly “first-person shooter” titles focused on eliminating opponents, according to his Steam account.
Records obtained from Joshua Jahn's Steam account reportedly revealed that he was obsessed with playing video games online and even logged in some time right before he carried out the shooting, The New York Post reported. He primarily played "first-person shooter" games, which allow players to operate firearms and take out enemies.

Jashua Jahn's disturbing details emerge
Jashua John's Steam account was opened in September 2011 — he logged 729 days worth of game playing, more than two years. That amounts to nearly 15% of his entire life — including sleeping hours — on the video game platform Steam over the course of a decade and a half.The 29-year-old, known by his online pals as “SAM I Am” and “Frank Hoenikker,” spent nearly 7,000 hours in the open-world survival game “Rust,” his online profile detailed. Joshua Jahn obsessively played the 2007 first-person shooter Team Fortress 2, amassing 3,400 hours, with his final session just hours before he opened fire at the Dallas ICE Facility, leaving one dead and two critically injured.
Joshua Jahn targeted an ICE bus carrying multiple detainees and agents into the field office's sally port Wednesday morning. As he fired indiscriminately inside the facility, one migrant detainee was killed and two others were critically wounded. No law enforcement personnel were harmed. Jahn turned a gun on himself after spraying bullets at the field office in Dallas, Texas, and riddling a van full of detainees with ammo on Wednesday.
According to FBI Director Kash Patel, the attack appears to be politically motivated, as bullets found at the scene had "ANTI-ICE" scrawled on the sides.

Jashua Jahn wanted to terrorize ICE employees
Handwritten notes found at his Oklahoma home also show that he raved about wanting to terrorize the ICE employees. Jahn's brother, Noah Jahn, said his sibling wasn't a very political person in an interview with NBC News.However, the shooter's Steam info has shown a now-disturbing link with Trump, years before the crime. Between December 15, 2019, and September 18, 2020, Jahn changed his name on his account to "#Impeachment," according to records seen by the Post. During this time period, Trump was undergoing his first impeachment trial of his first term.
Other games he played included Left 4 Dead 2, Ark: Survival Edition, Grand Theft Auto V, Rocket League, and Counter Strike, among others. In an update given to reporters, Patel said that agents learned that Jahn downloaded a document that contained a list of Department of Homeland Security facilities.

He also conducted multiple searches of ballistics and looked up "Charlie Kirk Shot Video" on Tuesday and Wednesday. In one handwritten note left at his home, Jahn wrote, "Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, 'Is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?'"
At the briefing, Dallas FBI Special Agent in Charge Joseph Rothrock said, "To include Jahn's own words in his handwritten notes, Jahn specifically intended to kill ICE agents. "He fired at transport vehicles carrying ICE personnel, federal agents, and detainees.

"He also fired multiple shots into the windows of the office building, where numerous ICE employees do their jobs every day." FBI officials concluded that Jahn had dedicated time to intentional planning before conducting the sick crime.
When Trump was briefed on the horrific situation, he blamed far-left Democrats for radicalizing people into violence. He said, "This violence is the result of the Radical Left Democrats constantly demonizing Law Enforcement, calling for ICE to be demolished, and comparing ICE Officers to 'Nazis.'"
