CTET 2026 Re-Exam Dates Announced For Two Centres In Bihar, Details Here
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the re-examination date for candidates affected by the cancellation of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) held on February 7-8, 2026, at two centres in Vaishali (Hajipur), Bihar. The exam at 125016 – St. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar, and 125014 – Lakshya International Academy was cancelled due to “unavoidable circumstances". The re-exam will now be conducted on March 1.
According to an official statement, revised admit cards for the affected candidates will soon be available in their application login. Candidates can download the new admit card from the official website, ctet.nic.in.
The notice was issued by the Director (CTET) under CBSE, which conducts the examination. Only the candidates mentioned in the notification are required to appear for the re-examination. The board has asked them to regularly check official communication channels for details about the exam date, reporting time and instructions.
“All the candidates who were allotted above centres are hereby informed to download the revised admit card from their application log-in through CTET website i.e. ctet.nic.in and appear in the examination accordingly," the notice said.
The board also clarified that no further opportunity will be provided to these candidates in the 21st edition of CTET. Requests for change of exam centre or date will not be considered.
After the examination, CBSE will release the provisional answer keys and scanned images of candidates’ OMR answer sheets on the official website. Candidates will be able to check both the answer keys and their response sheets online.
CTET is a qualifying examination for candidates seeking teaching jobs in central government schools and other institutions that accept CTET scores.
