CLAT 2026 Application Correction Window Open Till November 9, What Can You Edit?

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has opened the application correction window for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. Applicants can update their test location via the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, until November 9 at 11:59 PM.

“CLAT 2026 candidates have been provided an opportunity to edit their test location preferences indicated in the application form on or before 11.59 P.M. on November 09, 2025. Subsequent requests for a change of test location will not be accepted," reads the official notice.

This exam is crucial for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes at 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating universities. It will take place on December 7, 2025, in an offline, written format.

According to the official notice, candidates who have already registered can verify and update essential details such as their name, birthdate, applied programme (undergraduate or postgraduate), and eligibility for reservations. “Candidates may also take this opportunity to review and if necessary, correct their Name, Date of Birth, Programme applied (UG/PG) and Reservations Eligibility," the official notice added.

Step 1: Visit the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, and log into your CLAT 2026 account.

Step 2: Select “Edit Application Form" from the menu.

Step 3: Choose the “Test Centre Preferences" option to update your preferences.

Step 4: Click on the “Reservation" tab and select “Agree" to accept the declaration.

Step 5: Finally, click “Submit Form" to save your changes.

Step 1: Log into your CLAT account on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, to access your information.

Step 2: Click on the “Print Application" button.

Step 3: Verify the accuracy of your personal details.

Step 4: If any modifications are needed, select “Edit Application."

Step 5: After making the necessary changes, carefully review the completed application form.

Step 6: Go to the Reservations tab and click “Submit Form."

Step 7: Save the updated application and print it for future reference.

To pass the UG exam, students must answer 120 questions across five sections: English language, current affairs and general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques. Students will have two hours to complete the test.
