The death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, found in a Tesla at a California impound lot, is under investigation as a homicide, raising questions about a possible connection to singer D4vd. A music video surfaced, depicting D4vd putting a body in a car trunk, adding intrigue. The video purportedly shows D4vd dragging the body down a path and then two people help him stuff it inside the car.
The body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas was found “severely decomposed” in a bag inside a Tesla at a California impoundment lot earlier this month. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
The teenager's death has led to questions about her potential connection to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. Amid the ongoing controversy, a music video where D4vd is seen putting a dead body in the trunk of a car has surfaced, adding another twist in the mysterious case.
Music video emerges in D4vd case
The music video titled 'One More Dance', premiered on February 2025, has received massive attention after the highly-decomposed body of Celeste Rivas was found in the trunk of a car belonging to the singer, in Los Angeles. The music video reportedly starts with a montage, which looks like it was shot on a camcorder. The video purportedly shows the singer dragging the body down a path and then two people help him stuff it into the trunk of a car. The body that D4vd is seen dragging is his own, which Uproxx noted set up 'an interesting dynamic'.
The trio then embark on a series of wild antics before ultimately digging a hole and disposing of D4vd's body, culminating in a shared celebratory dance. The screen then fades to black. According to the publication, One More Dance seems to continue the visual story exactly where the song Where'd It Go Wrong had left off.
Social media reacts to D4vd's video
One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared part of the music video and wrote “D4vd was literally dropping Easter eggs to get caught the entire time.”ALSO READ: Tom Holland breaks silence after Spider-Man' accident, stuns fans at public event with Zendaya
Another person remarked “all of his song especially ‘one more dance' are just literally a confession about his crime.” Yet another person commented “D4vd made a video to the song One More Dance depicting three people dumping a body in the trunk of a car…”.
David Anthony Burke has not released an official statement on the matter, but has canceled an upcoming concert on his national tour. Since early August, Burke has been touring the US to promote his debut album, “Withered.” The U.S. leg of the tour was expected to finish at the end of September.
Authorities discovered Rivas' body in the vehicle at the Hollywood Tow on September 8. The car was impounded after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for five days, an unnamed law enforcement source told the LA Times.

Investigators are trying to piece together Rivas' movements after she went missing in April 2024 from her home in Lake Elsinore, a small town around 70 miles south of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner said Rivas had a tattoo on her right index finger that said, “Shhh…” Later, TMZ reported that Burke appears to have the same tattoo on his right index finger. Her cause of death has not been made public.
Police also reportedly searched a house there where D4vd was staying and collected evidence. TMZ reported that an image had shown the 20-year-old singer close to where Rivas lived before she disappeared. Meanwhile, NBC Los Angeles reported that D4vd was cooperating with the investigation.
