Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing daily life in simple but powerful ways. One new tool getting attention is Clawdbot. Unlike regular bots, Clawdbot can read and reply to emails, manage files and even place orders for food and groceries. Recently, a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur shared how he used the tool to solve one of his “biggest headaches"— ordering food.
By connecting the tool to Swiggy, he turned the process into an automatic task. The bot learned his routine, like ordering tea at a fixed time, planned grocery orders and suggested meals based on his mood. The setup takes just a minute, and after that, everything runs on its own.
How Clawdbot Handles Swiggy Orders Automatically
In the screenshot shared by the entrepreneur, Clawdbot clearly showed the full food order before placing it. It listed each item, the quantity and the price, along with details like delivery charges, taxes, and the final amount to be paid. The total bill was Rs 160 and was set as cash on delivery. The screen also mentioned that the order could not be cancelled once placed. The assistant then asked for final approval before moving ahead.
After the entrepreneur typed a simple command to go ahead with the order, the AI acted instantly. It placed the order without any delay and updated the screen with a confirmation message.
Sharing the post on X (Formerly Twitter), the entrepreneur wrote, “Connected Swiggy to Clawdbot and automated my biggest headache. Now it knows my schedule, chai delivered to my door at 5pm, auto builds carts and orders groceries for meals I cook, dinner recommendations based on what I'm craving. Setup takes 1 minute. Just ask Clawdbot to set up the Swiggy skill I've published, everything else runs on autopilot."

Mixed Reactions From Social Media Users
Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Oh, this is super smart. This is what I want AI to do, solve my real day-to-day problems/do a part of my household chores."
Another shared, “I am struggling to find the most cost-effective model. Opus and Sonnet guzzle tokens. Gemini hallucinates. Haiku is also sub optimal with accessing cloud files. Deep seek doesn't do tool calls. Builders build. Hungry builders build food ordering bots LFGGG."
“These all things will fade away in another 2-3 years," a comment read.
An individual stated, “I'm liking how people are automating their work, although mine was a bit complicated. I tried setting up Clawdbot once, but it did not set up right, and now every tutorial that I see starts from the start."
Another mentioned, “Too good. It saves a lot of time where we spend unnecessarily browsing what we should order."
One more added, “This is exactly how you lose how much you are spending. Somethings are better done manually with choice every single time."
What Is Clawdbot?
Clawdbot, created by PSPDFKit founder Peter Steinberger, works differently from regular chatbots. It can remember past details and understand a user's routine. The tool can also send reminders, updates and alerts on its own when something needs attention. Most people use the AI through common messaging apps like Telegram, iMessage, WhatsApp and Discord. Because of this, using it feels simple and natural, similar to chatting with a personal assistant on the phone rather than using a complex app.
