CCMB Hyderabad To Begin Application For 80 Posts On Jan 27, Salary Up To Rs 90,000
The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CSIR-CCMB) in Hyderabad has announced a new job recruitment notification. The organisation seeks to fill a total of 80 vacancies across various technical posts such as Technician, Technical Assistant, and Technical Officer. Eligible candidates can apply online starting January 27.
According to the notification details, there are 50 Technician (Grade-I) posts, 25 Technical Assistant posts, and 5 Technical Officer posts. Candidates possessing relevant technical qualifications and experience will be selected for these roles. The online application process concludes on February 23.
CCMB Hyderabad Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Candidates applying for Assistant Professor (Clinical and Non-Clinical) positions must hold a PG degree like MD, MS, or DNB in the pertinent discipline from MCI or NMC recognized institutions. Higher qualifications like DM, MCh, DNB, or DrNB are required for Super Specialty Assistant Professor posts.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for Technician and Technical Assistant posts is 28 years, and for Technical Officer posts, it is 30 years as of February 23, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories as per government regulations.
Regarding senior residency rules, candidates applying for clinical and non-clinical departments must have completed at least one year of senior residency after their PG. However, the notification specifies that senior residency is not mandatory for super specialty posts.
CCMB Hyderabad Recruitment: Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive attractive salaries and allowances. Technician posts offer a salary of approximately Rs. 39,545 per month, Technical Assistant posts offer about Rs. 72,240, and Technical Officer posts offer around Rs. 90,100 per month. In addition to being a central government job, other allowances and promotion opportunities will be available.
Eligible candidates must visit the official CCMB website at ccmb.res.in to fill out the online application form. After completing the online process, the hard copy of the application form, along with the necessary certificates, must be sent to the specified address in the notification within the given timeframe. The selection process is expected to involve written tests, skill tests, or interviews.
