The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the exam datesheet for class 10th and 12th board exams in 2026. The exams that were initially set for March 3, have been rescheduled to March 11 and April 10, 2026.
The class 10 exam on March 3 which included Tibetan, German, National Cadet Corps, Bodo, Tangkhul, Bhoti, Japanese, Bhutia, Spanish, Kashmiri, Mizo, Bahasa Melayu and Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy subjects will now take place on March 11, 2026.
The class 12 Legal Studies exam which was initially scheduled for March will now be conducted on April 10, 2026. CBSE also emphasised that all other examination dates remain unchanged.
“All other examination dates remain unchanged. Schools are requested to kindly disseminate this information to all concerned students and parents for their information and necessary action please. Date Sheets are being amended accordingly and the revised dates will also be given in the Admit Cards when issued. Your cooperation will be appreciated in ensuring smooth conduct of the examinations." CBSE stated in an official notice.
The CBSE 10th exams 2026 will take place from February 17 to March 10, 2026, while the CBSE 12th exams 2026 will be conducted from February 17 to April 9, 2026. The exams will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM, depending on the subjects.
The secondary school exams for class 10 will start with the Mathematics Standard and Basic exams on February 17, running from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The class 10 exams will conclude with the French language exam on March 10. The class 12 or senior school exams will begin with Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship, and Shorthand (English and Hindi) on February 17 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and will end with Sanskrit, Data Science, and Multimedia on April 9.
