CAMS Stock Split 2025 Record Date: Shares To Trade Adjusted After 1:5 Stock Split Today

CAMS Stock Split 2025: Shares of Computer Age Management Systems Ltd. (CAMS) will be in focus on Friday, December 5, for the record date of the stock split that the company announced during its quarterly results.

Shares will begin trading adjusted for their stock split during the market hours. It may reflect a substantial fall on the charts, but that's just an adjustment.

CAMS has fixed the stock split in the ratio of 1:5, meaning existing 1 (One) Equity Share having a face value of INR 10 (Ten) each into 5 (Five) Equity Shares of INR 2 (Two).

“… we wish to inform that the Company has fixed Friday, December 05, 2025 as the ‘Record Date' for determining the entitlement of Equity Shareholders for the purpose of Sub-Division/Split of existing Equity Shares of the Company, such that existing 1 (One) Equity Share having a face value of INR 10 (Ten) each into 5 (Five) Equity Shares of INR 2 (Two) each, fully paid up, ranking pari passu in all respects," the company said in the filing.

A stock split is when a company increases the number of its shares by dividing each existing share into multiple new ones, without changing the total value of your investment. For example, in a 1:5 split, one share becomes five, and the share price adjusts accordingly so the overall market value stays the same. Companies usually do this to make their stock look more affordable, boost liquidity, and attract more retail investors.

CAMS shares settled 2.61 per cent higher on Thursday at Rs 3,960.30 apiece, against the previous day close at Rs 3,859.60 apiece. Stocks are down 22 per cent in 2025 year-to-date. However, in the last five years, they have yielded 170.69 per cent returns to shareholders.
