BTS Junkook Says Some People Want To 'Kill' Him, Leaves ARMYs Worried After Drunk LIVE Session
BTS member Junkook left his fans worried when he recently conducted a LIVE session on Weverse in a drunk state. While the globally popular K-pop singer made several revelations during the session, one of his comments left ARMYs worried. Junkook hinted that he has been getting death threats and claimed that some people “want to kill" him.
“Honestly, there must be a lot of people who don’t support me and don’t like me and want to belittle me..and people who want to kill me. There must be a lot of people who hate me. But so what? I don’t care," Jungkook said, as quoted by IwmBuzz.
Soon after a video from the live session went viral on social media, fans expressed concerns for the singer’s security. “This Korean man translated what Jungkook said here and I’m shocked.. ‘people who want to k*** me’, he’s getting death threats??? oh my god… I’m speechless," one of the users wrote. “This is soo heartbreaking. I wish him happiness and safety. May his haters get the biggest karma," added another.
It should be noted that Jungkook’s claims come months after it was reported that a Russian national living in Seoul chased away two Japanese women, who appeared to be attempting to unlock the security keypad at the entrance of Jungkook’s home. In the Instagram video, a Russian fan, who was walking their dog in the neighbourhood, noticed the two other women standing at the gate, behaving suspiciously.
Upon approaching them, the witness said that they saw the two women trying multiple passcode combinations and writing down all the unsuccessful ones on their notepad. The Russian fan stated that they attempted to intervene and record the intruders’ faces, but were pushed aside and were unable to capture clear footage. As seen in the later online clip, the two women fled the scene once the fan began filming them.
