Many road accidents occur when drivers miscalculate overtaking or abruptly change lanes without checking their mirrors. Such carelessness can risk lives and damage vehicles. Speaking of which, a video has gone viral, showing a brand-new car getting trapped between two speeding trucks. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Captured from a bike rider's camera, the clip shows two trucks and a car moving steadily. The car driver attempts to overtake the truck ahead when another truck in the adjacent lane honks and accelerates from the right, creating a hazardous situation.
Brand New Car Stuck Between Two Trucks
Instead of waiting, the car continues to push through the small gap. The result: the truck brushes hard against the side of the car. With no space to escape, the car remains stuck behind both trucks. The biker, who filmed the incident, stops to check if the passengers are safe. Thankfully, they were fine, though the new car suffered visible damage. Both trucks, however, continued moving ahead without stopping.
As the camera pans, the car still has its showroom sticker, suggesting it was newly purchased. The POV text in the video explains: “Just another chill ride… brand new car stuck between two trucks. The front truck slowed down… she panicked and switched lanes without checking. The right lane truck couldn't stop – crash. The car got wrecked… but thank God no one was hurt. Always stay alert. One second of carelessness can change everything."

Social media users flooded the comments with analysis and advice on safe driving, with many highlighting that the car driver lacked awareness and should have avoided forcing the vehicle into such a tight gap.
Another wrote, “Yes, that horn is an alert, and the car should have stopped changing lanes."
A person added, “While it was certainly a miscalculation or ego of the car driver to overtake, it was also a mistake of the truck driver to drive in the right lane."
Another one said, “The car driver is lacking situational awareness. Biker +100 points for situational awareness – rare feat."

Someone noted, “Looks like a new driver in the car. Should have checked the blind spot at least, assuming people in the car closed all windows and have music on high, otherwise hard to miss the truck."

But this is India, people don't know the rules. People follow what they see happening on the roads. Even that sometimes not that properly!"

Others pointed out that both the truck and car drivers shared responsibility, but the car driver's lack of awareness worsened the situation. Some users also stressed the importance of using indicators, checking blind spots, and avoiding overtakes when there's no safe margin.
