Border 2 Earns Rs 30 Crore On Its Opening Day
As reported by Sacnilk, Border 2 has earned Rs 30 crore on its opening day in India. The film had an overall occupancy of 32.10 per cent in the Hindi market on Friday, January 23. While the morning shows saw an occupancy of 19.46 per cent, it increased to as high as 48 per cent during the night shows. Places like Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Chennai, Jaipur and Kolkata saw the maximum footfall with over 40 per cent occupancy in each of these cities.
Border 2 Beats Dhurandhar
With Rs 30 crore on its opening day, Border 2 has beaten even Ranveer Singh's superhit movie, Dhurandhar. The Aditya Dhar directorial, which released in December 2025, had earned Rs 28 crore on its opening day. However, it should also be noted that Border 2 could not surpass Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, both of which earned Rs 32 crore and Rs 40 crore, respectively.
