However, the pace at which property prices are rising has made it difficult to keep up. “All the societies are running on tankers, and roads are barely there. It does not feel worth it to pay this much amount,” the resident wrote. The situation appears even more striking in some housing societies. The resident pointed out that 2BHK flats in some places are being sold for around ₹2.5 crore, with inventory already sold out. For the resident, the mismatch between rising costs and existing issues has made the prospect of buying a home feel increasingly unreasonable.
