Baseer Ali Claims His Screentime Was Reduced On Bigg Boss 19: 'I Was Barely Shown' | Exclusive

Baseer Ali's eviction from Bigg Boss 19 came as a shock to his fans, considering his contribution to the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. Now, fresh out of the show, Baseer, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, claimed that he feels the show's makers are biased and that Salman Khan ignored him during Weekend Ka Vaar. The reality TV star went on to allege that somebody who has worked with the channel before might lift the trophy.

When asked if he believes his screen time was reduced, Baseer alleged that several important conversations and incidents involving him were not shown on TV. “Look, the control over the show's episodes and its 24×7 live feed lies entirely in the hands of the makers. It's their decision who gets how much screen time. There isn't a single corner in the house without a camera. Throughout my time in the house, I didn't ring the ‘kukdoo koo' alarm even once — that means I was active and always up and about. If the makers didn't find me relevant for the show, they simply stopped showing me. I had friends — you all know — I chopped for four weeks straight, yet I was barely shown. And I can say this with confidence — I had several important conversations with Farhana between the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes that never made it to TV," Baseer said.

Further, Baseer expressed disappointment with Salman Khan for not giving him any advice during Weekend Ka Vaar and claimed that he realised early in the game that the makers wouldn't let him win the trophy.

“I didn't receive any advice or guidance; instead, fingers were pointed at me. People mocked my fashion, made jokes about me, and even created fake love angles. So many meaningless things were said; I mean, even if they hadn't done all that, nothing in the show would've changed. It almost felt like they were doing me a favour, like, ‘Yeah, let's make him feel seen or heard.' That's when I realised they were never going to let me win. Then I realised it would be difficult for me to survive there, and suddenly, my eviction happened."

While Baseer says he doesn't care who wins the show now, he feels the makers already have their favourites in mind. “Jeetenge wohi Colors ke faces ya Tanya Mittal jaisa koi," he told us.

Baseer Ali was evicted from Bigg Boss 19 during the recent Weekend Ka Vaar. He walked out of the show along with Nehal Chudasama.
