‘Bas Mauka Milna Chahiye’: Sachin Tendulkar Left Impressed By Rural Kids’ Handmade ‘Car’
Sachin Tendulkar recently shared a heartwarming moment from his travels after spotting a group of village children playing with a handmade cart designed like a car. The former cricketer was so impressed by the children’s creativity that he stopped his vehicle to watch them closely and speak with them.
The video shared by Tendulkar is now drawing attention online, with many people praising the imagination and effort shown by the children despite having very limited resources.
Sachin Stops To Watch Children’s Creation
In the clip, a group of rural children can be seen moving around in a homemade structure designed to look like a small car. The setup appeared to be built using simple materials, including wheels, wooden supports and rods attached together carefully. One boy sat inside the structure while others pushed and pulled it along the road.
Tendulkar looked genuinely surprised and happy after seeing how the children had managed to create the moving cart entirely through their own ideas and effort. Instead of driving away, he got down to interact with them and filmed the moment himself.
Sharing the video on X (formerly Twitter), Tendulkar wrote, “Driving through one of the many hidden corners of India, we stopped to check out a ‘car’ that didn’t come from a showroom, but from sheer imagination. This is the kind of talent that doesn’t wait for perfect conditions, it finds a way to roll anyway. Bas mauka milna chahiye!"
The phrase quickly connected with many social media users, who said the video showed how talent and creativity can be found even in the most unexpected places.

Many users online said the children’s handmade vehicle reflected the spirit of innovation often seen in villages and small towns across India. Several people also appreciated Tendulkar for noticing and encouraging the children instead of simply passing by.
