La Liga champions Barcelona began their title defence with a 3-0 win against Mallorca on the road on Saturday as Hansi Flick and Co. got off to a bright start to the campaign.

Barcelona inched ahead through Brazilian superstar Raphinha's seventh minute opener as Yamal set his teammate up for the strike before Torres doubled the side's lead in the 23rd minute of the game. Mallorac fans were left feeling hard done by the ref as Morales and Muriqi were both sent off in the space of six minutes.
Yamal added Barca's third of the day in the fourth minute of added time to complete the rout, but head coach Hansi Flick was less than impressed with his team taking their foot off the gas in the second period of the game.
“They're three important points, but I didn't like the match," Flick said.
“After going two goals up and following Mallorca's two red cards, I think the team only gave 50 percent and I didn't like that," the German continued.
“Playing at 50 or 60 per cent is not possible against nine players," he said.
“If I would be on the other side of the decision I also would be not happy but I always say to my team until the referee stops the match we have to continue," the Barelona gaffer said
“The referee didn't stop the match so there you go. That they are unhappy with that decision I can also imagine," the 60-year-old added.
Flick also lauded the efforts of Spanish teenage sensation Yamal, who started the season just as he had finished the previous season.

In the other games on the day, Valencia drew 1-1 at home to Real Sociedad, while Real Oviedo's return to the top flight after a two decade absence began on a disappointing note with a 2-0 defeat at Villarreal.
