A foreign traveller has drawn attention after choosing to explore Nagaland instead of the usual tourist circuit of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. In an Instagram reel, a creator named Emma shared her experience at the Hornbill Festival, calling it a side of India many visitors never see.
In the clip, Emma attends the festival's opening ceremony, poses with tribal groups and even joins a traditional dance. She said that even after spending two days there, the scale and energy of the event surprised her. Nagaland's music, colours and food left a strong impact on her.
Emma Shares Why Hornbill Festival Left Her Amazed
“If you think you know India, wait until you see Nagaland's Hornbill Festival. I have spent 2 days at the Hornbill Festival and honestly. Nothing prepared me for this," she wrote.
She added that every tribe tells its story through dance and that the festival feels completely different from regular travel content. “If you haven't been to Nagaland, you are missing out!!" she added in the post.
