Amitabh Bachchan marked his granddaughter's birthday with a touching message on his personal blog, sharing blessings and affection for the teenager who holds a special place in the family. He wrote, “Blessings on the eve of the little one , Aaradhya .. the child in us all grows with time and we wish them the mostest .. we pray the same ..And today be the dawn of the loved one's birth .. all blessings 🙏"
Looking back, just a week after the birth of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan's daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, in November 2011, the Bachchan family – Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan along with the couple — decided to address the media's curiosity while still keeping their personal lives private. Instead of a public appearance, they opted for a press conference at their office, ABC Corp, in Juhu, Mumbai. Amitabh spoke on behalf of the family, thanking the media for respecting their privacy during such an intimate moment.
The elated grandfather said, “Today, we brought betiya home. We are very happy. Hamare ghar Laxmi aayi hai, Abhishek, Aishwarya and betiya are all well and in good health. Life changes when a new life comes to your house. I would say Laxmi Ratna has arrived in our house."
When asked about the newest addition to the Bachchan parivar, who had yet to be named at that time, Amitabh revealed that their first trip with her was to their home, Pratiksha, which holds sentimental value as the family's first residence. “We first took her to Pratiksha because that is our first home. After taking blessings from my ma and babuji (Amitabh's parents), we have come to Jalsa," Amitabh said, as per Rediff.
The young star kid, born on 16 November 2011 to Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has grown up in the public eye, adored by fans who have watched her childhood unfold through rare public appearances and family updates.
