'Alien' Victor Wembanyama Scripts More NBA History! Spurs Star Becomes First Player EVER To...

Victor Wembanyama is already putting up video game numbers, and the San Antonio Spurs are yet to lose a single game this season.

Three games in, the 7ft 4in French phenom has already made NBA history: piling up over 100 points, 40 rebounds, and 18 blocks.

No player has ever started a season with that kind of dominance.

Wemby's Historic Start

After missing eight months following shoulder surgery for deep vein thrombosis, Wembanyama has come back like he never left.

The 2023 No. 1 draft pick, just 21 years old, is averaging an absurd 33.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, and six blocks per game: the kind of statline that previously existed only in NBA folklore.

Since blocks became an official stat in 1973-74, only Patrick Ewing, Shaquille O'Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, and David Robinson have matched such a three-game stretch. And now, Wembanyama's name joins theirs — at just 21 years of age.

Even more remarkable: he's turned the ball over just twice in three games, a stunning sign of maturity given how much he handles the ball.

Spurs Stay Perfect

The Spurs improved to 3-0 after a 118-107 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night, despite almost blowing a 26-point lead.

San Antonio led 81-55 midway through the third quarter before the Nets roared back with a 26-7 run, cutting the deficit to seven. But Wembanyama and co. steadied the ship with a late 10-0 surge to close out the game and keep their unbeaten streak alive.

Wemby finished, as usual, at the centre of it all, dominating both ends of the floor and making history with every possession.
